What is Stainless Steel?

Stainless Steel is high corrosion resistant alloy, which typically contains more than 10.5% Chromium. Stainless steel does not corrode, rust or stain with water, as ordinary steel does due to the addition of Chromium in the Steel, with higher Chromium levels increasing the corrosion resistance. This means that Stainless Steel Drainage Grates preserve much better than other drainage products.

SAS Drainage Solutions uses only 316 grade stainless steel. This means Steel with a high Chromium level of 17-25%. This grade of stainless can withstand and preserve in any applications where water is present.
